The Gardensmith offers a design service to Schools and Nurseries wishing to redevelop their playgrounds and playing fields. These play areas have been shown to be very beneficial to children helping with their behaviour, learning and social development. We offer a design, supply and install service for school play equipment, school play houses, play trains, school shelter and outdoor classrooms and gazebos. Swan Lane First School - Evesham An 80m x 20m section of the playing field was redeveloped to include a timber play school castle, story telling area, outdoor classroom and outdoor theatre. An outdoor classroom was added for outdoor school lessons and shelter for the children during the summer. The banks were planted up with attractive shrubs and bulbs to give shelter and interest for the children and old tree stumps from 50 year old Bramley Apple trees were placed in the play area for climbing and sitting on and imaginary play. |
